🎯 Our Mission

HandRecorder was born from a simple frustration: existing poker tracking apps were too slow for live play. Fumbling through menus to record a hand disrupted the game flow and made tracking impractical at the table.

We set out to build the fastest poker app that could record a complete hand in about 2.8 seconds with a one-thumb card picker, while maintaining 100% privacy. No accounts, no data collection, no compromises.

With version 3.0, HandRecorder grows from a tracker into a complete study and tracking toolkit. We added a built-in GTO Trainer — push/fold charts, a flop explorer, and a range library — plus full Omaha/PLO support, cash-game rake tracking for accurate win-rate math, and CloudKit sync with backup and restore. It still runs 100% offline with no account, secured by Face ID and Touch ID.

Project Inception
Frustrated with slow poker apps, we began designing a speed-first hand tracking solution. Set the ambitious goal: complete hand recording in just a few seconds.

Core Architecture
Built the foundation with SwiftUI, Core Data, and privacy-first architecture. Designed the revolutionary unified card picker that eliminated scrolling.
